Ram 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs feature the largest front brake rotors (390 mm) and calipers (66 mm) in their class. Large components contribute to greater stopping power and longer brake life, and this means less money spent on brake jobs and more uptime spent on the job.

Proven Performance

The 2011 Ram Chassis Cab will be equipped with a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) injection system and a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst to meet stringent 2010 calendar year emissions requirements.

With the Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, Ram is the only manufacturer to offer 50-state emissions package and exterior label allowing drivers to idle without time restrictions in California and other Air Resource Board (ARB) states. This means you can let your truck idle while Ford and GM owners have to automatically shut down after idling five minutes or risk fines in these states.
